Sales Engineer

I am currently working with a market leading, multi-million pound turn over business who are looking for a Sales Engineer to join their growing team.

The Role:

I am looking for a Sales Engineer to sell the companies range of Hydraulic equipment and tools. You will be responsible for looking after a base of existing clients from the Oil & Gas market as well as generating new business opportunities across the UK.

In the role of Sales Engineer you will be based from home and have full autonomy of how you manage your diary, visiting new and existing clients regularly with a view to conduct both technical presentations and demonstrations. You will be responsible for an annual revenue target of approx. £600k ($1m).

The Person

To be successful in the of role Sales Engineer you:

  • Must have an existing network of relevant contacts throughout the UK
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling in to the Oil & Gas industry or have sold Hydraulics tools and equipment
  • Have worked within a large organisation, preferably £30m+
  • Must be willing and able to travel and visiting customers 75% of the time

The Package:

The Basic Salary for the Sales Engineer is up to £50,000. You will also receive an 8% annual bonus. You will receive a 4.5% matched Pension, 25 day’s holiday plus bank holidays, car allowance, mobile and laptop.
